The provincial government Quezon headed by Gov. Doktora Helen Tan, in partnership with Giga ACE 6 Corporation, leads the implementation of the added 2.57 kilometers of Barangay Pandan-Masikap Farm-to-Market Road (15.57 KM) in Real, Quezon. Once completed, the road will not only enhance connectivity to the renewable energy site but will also improve access to markets for locals.  

  GEN.LUNA,Quezon — Sa ilalim ng pamumuno ni Gov. Doktora Helen Tan, nakompleto na ang San Vicente-Malaya Farm-to-Market Road sa bayan ng General Luna. Mula sa nasimulang proyekto ng Philippine Rural Development Project (PRDP), sinikap ng Pamahalaang Panlalawigan ng Quezon na tapusin ang kalsada sa kabila ng kakulangan sa pondo. Ang farm-to-market road na ito ay may habang limang (5) kilometro na lubos na mapakikinabangan ng pitong barangay; San Vicente, San Nicolas, Sumilang, Nieva, Recto, Magsaysay, at Malaya. “’Yung trade of course, mabilis na nilang mailalabas ang produkto nila. And imagine mo dati naglalakad kayo [mga residente] ganu’n kalayo,” saad ni Gov. Tan. Mapapagaan din ang byahe dahil magko-konekta ang kalsada na ito sa mga bayan ng Catanauan at Lopez. Dagdag pa ng Gobernadora, malaking tulong ang pagpapaikli ng oras ng biyahe sa mga batang nag-aaral at sa mga may sakit na residente.  

Kasabay ng isinagawang medical mission sa bayan ng General Luna, namahagi rin si Governor Doktora Helen Tan, katuwang ang Office of the Provincial Agriculturist, ng mga agricultural inputs bilang bahagi ng patuloy na suporta sa sektor ng agrikultura. Tumanggap ang General Luna Coconut Farmers Federation ng tig-iisang set ng assorted vegetable seeds, fertilizer, tools at equipment, samantala, sampung sako ng organikong pataba, naman ang naibigay sa Vegetable-SIPag General Luna. Asahan na sa gitna man ng pagbabago ng klima at patuloy na pagsubok sa sektor ng pagkain, tuloy-tuloy ang suporta ng Pamahalaang Panlalawigan upang matiyak ang seguridad sa pagkain at katatagan ng mga magsasaka sa lalawigan.

The Quezon Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council action officer Dr. Melchor Avenilla put up a static display and photo exhibit contest, and demonstration. PDRRMC members like Philippine Army, Philippine Navy, Philippine Coast Guard, Bureau of Fire Protection, and rescue personnel of the municipal disaster risk reduction management office joined the event renew knowledge and updating preparedness particularly on earthquake, floodings and rescue jobs. Avenilla said that the PDRRMO will continue conducting awareness on disaster preparedness matters until the people have been educated in times of calamities. Avenilla added that the exhibit is to highlight the importance of disaster preparedness and community resilience and promotes  a culture of readiness. The static display is up to July 11.

Tiniguiban Calauag, Quezon. ‎Ang pagkakaisa ng mga doktor, ispesyalista, nurse, sundalo at mga kawani ng Pamahalaang Panlalawigan ay nakapaghatid sa 2,301 benepisyaro mula sa nasabing bayan ng libreng serbisyong medikal gaya ng Medical Consultation, Dental Extraction, Tuli, Minor Surgery, Bukol screening, Optical service, OB ultrasound, ECG, X-Ray, FBS, Cholesterol, Uric Acid, UACR, CBC, Blood Typing, Urinalysis, HIV Test, Family Planning, Cervical Screening at Breast Screening. ‎Taos-pusong nagpasalamat si 4th District Congressman Atty. Mike Tan bilang kinatawan ni Governor Tan sa dedikasyon at hindi matatawarang malasakit ng mga nagbalikatan upang maging matagumpay ang medical mission.‎ Isinasagawa rin noong Hulyo 6 ang Medical Mission sa Guinayangan Quezon at marami pang bayan sa Quezon ang susunod na bibisitahin ng mga grupo ni Gov. Helen Tan.

Bukod sa pagsasaayos ng mga pasilidad at modernisasyon ng kagamitan sa bawat ospital, pinaigting ni Governor Doktora Helen Tan ang implementasyon ng No Balance Billing at No Out-of-Pocket Policy sa mga pampublikong ospital sa Quezon. Ayon kay Tan, hangad niya na ang bawat Quezonian na nangangailangan ng serbisyong medikal ay hindi na mag-alala pa sa mga gastusin, bagkus, ay malunasan ang karamdaman at magkaroon ng panibagong pag-asa. “Ang ating muling pagkaluklok sa kapitolyo ay hindi nangangahulugan na tayo ay mauupo lamang, sa halip, mas pinipili nating tumindig at manindigan sa ating sinumpaang tungkulin na maghatid ng Serbisyong Tunay At Natural sa minamahal na lalawigan.” “Malayo na ang narating natin at malayo pa ang ating mararating. An excellence awards night was held in their honor as a gesture of appreciation from the municipal government, headed by Mayor Vincent Arjay Mea, and the Sangguniang Bayan. Their entrepreneurship is established in various villages, making a big contribution to the local economy that catapulted the town into a new business capital, particularly in Quezon’s second district. Even sari-sari stores in the barangays were given an award and were duly registered with the business permit and licensing office, and witnessed by Emily Singson, head of the Revenue District Office 60. On the part of the awardees, Anday Albao expressed thanks to the municipal government for recognizing their significance to the local economy. The Pillar of Business Honor is the highest recognition bestowed upon businesses that exemplify enduring excellence, leadership, and transformative impact.
