LUCENA CITY, Quezon – Province disaster risk reduction management council launched awareness campaign on calamity preparedness  in relation to the National Disaster Resilience Month 2025 in SM City event center on July 10 – 11,  here.

The Quezon Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council action officer Dr. Melchor Avenilla put up a static display and photo exhibit contest, and demonstration.

PDRRMC members like Philippine Army, Philippine Navy, Philippine Coast Guard, Bureau of Fire Protection, and rescue personnel of the municipal disaster risk reduction management office joined the event renew knowledge and updating preparedness particularly on earthquake, floodings and rescue jobs.

Avenilla said that the PDRRMO will continue conducting awareness on disaster preparedness matters until the people have been educated in times of calamities.

Avenilla added that the exhibit is to highlight the importance of disaster preparedness and community resilience and promotes  a culture of readiness.

The static display is up to July 11.
