ZAMBALES, Philippines – In celebration of his 69th Birthday, President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. brought on Monday government offices here to render free basic services and livelihood assistance to some 5,000 marginalized residents of the province.
The event, dubbed as “Handog ng Pangulo Serbisyong Sapat Para sa Lahat”, held in Botolan Peoples Plaza here, was attended by Zambales Gov. Hermogenes Ebdane Jr., Cong. Doris Maniquiz (2nd Dist., Zambales), and Dr. Beverly Lorraine Ho, President and CEO of Philippine Health Insurance, Corporation, in behalf of the President Ferdinand Marcos, Jr., and Botolan Mayor Jun Omar Ebdane.
Dr. Ho said the event was part of the nation-wide activities of the President to reach out to the communities with the opportunity to serve the Filipino people with the help of the national government offices, including: TESDA, PNP, NBI, BOI, IBP, DOJ, IBP, PAO, DICT, DOH-YAKAP, PRC, DSWD, LRA, DAR, DA, DTI, DILG, PESO, DOLE, and PSA.
In her message, Dr. Ho said that the President wanted to celebrate his birthday by bringing all government offices in Zambales to provide free services, and assistance, as she announced that the President has approved the allocation of P7 million for use in health program in Zambales.
“Let us take advantage of these assistance the President is extending to us for our job, for our families, and their future,” said Dr. Ho.
Meanwhile, Zambales Gov. Ebdane expressed his heartfelt gratitude for the President, and all the national government agencies which provided free technical and administrative assistance to the people of Zambales.
”Maraming salamat po, Pangulong Bongbong Marcos para sa inyong patuloy na pagtulong sa mamamaya ng Zambales at sa sambayanang Pilipino,” Ebdane said.
Gov. Ebdane also thanked that the President for approving the release of P145.8M for 27,000 fishermen where each received P5,400.00, and P119.3M for 22,,081 farmers where each received P5,400.00, as cash assistance.
Meanwhile, Rep. Maniquiz lauded all national government offices who participated in the ”Handog ng Pangulo Serbisyong Sapat Para Sa Lahat” to provide services free of charge.
Maniquiz also thanked the President for opening the regional children’s hospital in Clark City, and the Department of Migrant Workers in Iba, Zambales to help families of OFWs who are experiencing problems while abroad.
Among the services provided, include: 3,100 residents- 10-kilo rice, 1,113 qualified residents- Assistance to Individuals in Crisis Situation (AICS), 280 farmers- farm inputs: seeds, plastic crates, fertilizers; 41 individuals- E-Titles under Support to Partelization and Individual Titles of DAR; 66 received allowances from TESDA; PHILHEALTH YAKAP registration.
Also, Free legal assistance from PAO, NBI, DOJ; National ID registration from PSA, Trabaho Assistance from DMW and DOLE.
