The CEO Gymnasium, located along Justice Romualdez Street, is currently undergoing a facelift that will transform it into a City Sports Complex, set to become a hub for athletes and sports enthusiasts.

This upgrade aims to enhance the facility’s capacity to host various sporting events while providing a conducive environment for both training and competition.

As part of the improvements, the air-conditioned gym will feature elevated bleachers, ensuring ample seating for spectators during games and events.

A standard basketball court will also be installed, complete with movable goals and a modern basketball goal system.

These enhancements are designed to meet high standards, making the venue ideal for local tournaments, community sports programs, and other athletic activities.

The first phase of this project, valued at P10 million, is set for completion on June 11.

Meanwhile, the bidding process for Phase 2 is currently underway, promising further enhancements to expand the complex’s capabilities for a broader range of sports.By Tacloban CIO
