BAGUIO CITY, Philippines — Mayor Benjamin Magalong has been honored with the Rajah Sulayman Award for his efforts in promoting good governance, peace, unity and public service.
He received the recognition during the Sultanate Golden Crescent Award (SGCA) 2026 – A CSO Stakeholders’ Excellence Recognition, held on September 22, in Quezon City.
The mayor said he considers the recognition not only as a personal acknowledgment of his work but also a tribute to the collective efforts of Baguio City government workers and residents who contribute to the Summer Capital’s development.
He thanked the organizers and those who continue to support efforts toward peace, integrity and meaningful public service.
Magalong also vowed to continue serving the public with compassion, accountability and dedication.
