DASMARIÑAS CITY, Cavite, Philippines — Expanded Pabahay para sa Pamilyang Pilipino (4PH), the country’s flagship program that delivers quality and affordable homes, topped off more residential buildings as part of the government’s bid to provide safe homes for every Filipino family.

On October 1, the Department of Human Settlements and Urban Development (DHSUD) and Pag-IBIG Fund finished the structural construction of two residential buildings at JAB Residences, Dasmariñas City.

In a press release, DHSUD noted that the residential project consists of 17 five-storey buildings, each with 27-square-meter units priced at P1.5 million. The project is expected to generate at least 4,000 condominium-type housing units.

Led by DHSUD Secretary and Pag-IBIG Fund Board Chairman Jose Ramon P. Aliling and Pag-IBIG Fund CEO Marilene C. Acosta, the topping-off ceremony also marked the start of the National Shelter Month which highlights the efforts of both private and government sectors to deliver decent, safe, affordable, and sustainable homes.

Last February, President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. visited Megawide Construction Corp.’s precast plant in Taytay, Rizal. The President’s visit saw modern construction methods that can help accelerate the delivery of quality homes under the Expanded 4PH. (PB-PIA CALABARZON, with reports from Pag-IBIG Fund)
