Catanduanes wraps up two-day training on DigiHealth ATM

The Provincial Health Office (PHO), in coordination with DigiHealth specialists, wrapped up a two-day training on the use of the DigiHealth Automated Telehealth Machine (ATM) at the Provincial Capitol Dome, on May 6, 2025.

The training aimed to strengthen the capacity of Rural Health Units (RHUs) by highlighting the use of digital tools to enhance healthcare delivery in local communities. The session focused on the key features of the ATM system, designed to support faster and more efficient medical responses.

By equipping local health professionals with the tools and training to operate the DigiHealth ATM, the program seeks to reduce the need for residents to travel long distances for basic healthcare, particularly in far-flung or underserved areas.

This initiative is part of the Catanduanes Government’s ongoing efforts to support the goals of Universal Health Care (UHC). With continuous programs like the DigiHealth ATM training, the province is reinforcing its commitment to expanding healthcare access for all, particularly in rural communities. (Catanduanes PIO)
