NORTHERN SAMAR, Philippines — Newly-elected President of the Philippine Councilors League – Northern Samar Chapter, Emil Nicholas Ongchuan II, took his oath as ex-officio member of the Sangguniang Panlalawigan.

Currently a first-termer Sangguniang Bayan Member of Laoang, the young Ongchuan will be serving the province as Board Member for the term 2025-2028, one of the youngest among the 13 esteemed Members of the Provincial Board. Earlier this week, he was elected to lead the PCL Northern Samar Chapter by the more than 200 SB members provincewide.

Welcoming him to service in the Provincial Government are Governor Harris Ongchuan, Congressman Edwin Ongchuan, Vice Governor Clarence Dato, and incumbent SP Members.

The signing of his oath, a significant milestone in his public service journey, was witnessed by his beloved mother, Ms. Bles Ongchuan, and better half, Ms. Joanna Ongchuan. (Northern Samar PIO)
