NUEVA VIZCAYA, Philippines — Newly crowned Saniata ti Nueva Vizcaya 2026 Leanne Jaye C. Derije has been appointed the province’s tourism ambassador under a one-year agreement with the provincial government headed by Gov. Atty. Jose V. Gambito, following a courtesy call at the governor’s office where the deal was signed.

The Memorandum of Agreement (MOA), executed by Gambito and Derije, tasks the pageant winner with promoting Nueva Vizcaya’s priority tourism products, services, destinations and events.

Under the MOA, the Provincial Local Government Unit (PLGU) and the Provincial Tourism Office (PTO) will coordinate Derije’s participation in province-sanctioned campaigns, provide logistical and safety support for official activities, and include her in official promotional events, subject to existing rules and available funds.

The one-year agreement requires Derije to attend official engagements, observe professional conduct, and submit a monthly accomplishment report. In return, the add provincial government will grant a monthly qstipend of P10,000.

The MOA also bars the Saniata from making endorsements without the consent of the Provincial Local Governmemt Unit, Provincial Tourism and Culture Office or the Grand Ammungan Festival Saniata ti Nueva Vizcaya Committee.
