Public school basic education students in Tiaong, Quezon  impart with free school supplies

TIAONG, Quezon – The intermediate and primary learners from Cabay Elementary School,Tiaong East Elementary School, San Juan Elementary School and Claro M. Recto Memorial Central School with total enrolment of 3,358 were recipients of free school supplies given by Mayor Vincent Arjay Mea distributed to them during the school opening on Monday and Tuesday, July 29 and 30.
Mayor Mea  personally handed the school supplies on two days distribution which he imparted and his support to the Department of Education (DepEd).
Mea was accompanied by Sangguniang Bayan members led by vice mayor Rhoderick Umali, Barangay officials, Parents – Teachers Association officers and his family.
He reminded the students to study hard, prayerful and respect their teachers and classmates.
He assured that  he will accomplished as soon as soonest possible time the repair of defective classrooms under “zero backlog” program of the 35 schools from 31 barangays before the end of school year 2024-2025.
He also added his request of additional 96 classrooms to meet the backlogs to Department of Education secretary Sonny Angara and he is optimistic the positive response in addressing the shortage.
The school supplies is purchased by Mea personal fund.
