Nueva Vizcaya to hosts 2026 IBP Luzon Convention

NUEVA VIZCAYA, Philippines — Governor Jose V. Gambito pledged the full support of the provincial government for the hosting by the Nueva Vizcaya chapter of the Integrated Bar of the Philippines (IBP) of the 2026 IBP Northern Luzon Regional Convention, scheduled Oct. 15–17, 2026 at the Carlos M. Padilla Convention Center.

Gambito made the commitment during a courtesy call by IBP officials at his office on Aug. 26. A lawyer and also a former officer of the IBP, he said the provincial government will back the event and that the Office of the Governor will host a Governor’s Night to welcome delegates from across Northern Luzon.

The courtesy call was led by IBP Northern Luzon Governor Atty. Voltaire Garcia, accompanied by officers of the IBP Nueva Vizcaya chapter, which is headed by its president, Atty. Marlon Madamba.

The IBP Northern Luzon region covers the chapters of Abra, Apayao, Baguio-Benguet, Batanes, Cagayan, Ifugao, Isabela, Kalinga, La Union, Mountain Province, Nueva Vizcaya, Pangasinan, Ilocos Norte, Ilocos Sur and Quirino.

The convention will carry the theme, “Empowering Justice, Embracing Diversity: Amianan Standing in Solidarity, Serving with Inclusivity.”

Lawyers, judges, law practitioners and legal-sector leaders from the participating provinces are expected to attend the three-day event
