The Provincial Board of Canvassers officially proclaimed incumbent Vice Governor Mario Eduardo Ortega as the new governor of La Union.

Meanwhile, Aringay Mayor Eric Sibuma was declared the province’s new vice governor.

The proclamation was held at the Sangguniang Panlalawigan Hall in San Fernando City.(PIA La Union)
