The Municipality of Bauang, through the Office of Senior Citizens Affairs (OSCA) in partnership with the National Commission of Senior Citizens (NCSC), conducted the payout of financial assistance to 38 elderly beneficiaries aged 80, 85, 90, and 95. The event took place at the OSCA Building, providing a safe and accessible venue for the senior citizens,on July 8, 2025.

In full support of the program, Mayor Ma. Clarissa “Manang Bong” T. Lee, Vice Mayor Tanya Roberta A. De Guzman, and OSCA President Mr. Lorenzo Agustin were present during the distribution. They personally welcomed the beneficiaries, assisted in the distribution, and delivered inspirational messages expressing their deep gratitude and admiration for the senior citizens’ contributions to the community.

Mayor Lee reaffirmed the local government’s strong commitment to the welfare of the elderly, emphasizing that their sacrifices and life experiences continue to inspire the younger generation. Vice Mayor De Guzman encouraged the seniors to stay strong and positive, assuring them that the LGU will continue to prioritize their needs.

Mr. Agustin, for his part, expressed his heartfelt appreciation to the NCSC and the local officials for their consistent support of OSCA’s programs.

This meaningful activity is part of the government’s ongoing efforts to honor and uplift the lives of senior citizens, ensuring they receive the care, support, and recognition they truly deserve.
