Bacacay, Albay, Philippines — The Maritime Regional Office V (MRO5) conducted its SPMS and GAD Mid-Year Performance Assessment and Planning Conference on 31 July–01 August 2026 to assess the office’s accomplishments and performance during the first half of CY 2026.

The conference featured presentations by the respective section heads on the physical targets and accomplishments of various MRO5 sections, as well as discussions on financial performance, fund utilization, the 2026 National Expenditure Program (NEP), and the amended OPCR for CY 2026.

The afternoon session focused on Gender and Development (GAD) accomplishments and initiatives.

The activity concluded with a solidarity message from Regional Director Jeffrey A. Bangsa, emphasizing accountability, teamwork, and commitment to achieving organizational targets.

The conference also strengthened coordination among MRO5 personnel and set clear priorities for the second half of CY 2026 toward the delivery of responsive and quality maritime services.
