Nueva Vizcaya Gov. Jose V. Gambito received two Patient Transport Vehicles (PTVs) from the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) during a turnover ceremony led by President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. on July 24, 2026, at the Pampanga Provincial Capitol in San Fernando City.

The vehicles will be added to the equipment of the provincial government to strengthen the delivery of healthcare services in the province, particularly the transport of patients requiring immediate medical attention.

Gambito said the two PTVs would provide significant assistance to Novo Vizcayanos, especially patients from remote areas who need safe and timely transportation to hospitals and other medical facilities.

“These two Patient Transport Vehicles will be a significant help to our fellow Novo Vizcayanos, particularly patients who require immediate medical attention and safe transportation to healthcare facilities. This support will help improve our province’s capacity to respond to medical emergencies and ensure that patients receive the care they need without delay,” Gambito said.

The governor also thanked Marcos and the PCSO for their continued support of local government units through programs focused on healthcare and other public services.

During the ceremony, Marcos highlighted the 100-percent nationwide completion of the PCSO’s PTV Program following the distribution of 1,830 vehicles to cities, municipalities and provinces across the country.

He said the program is part of the government’s efforts to expand access to fast, safe and reliable healthcare services so that more Filipinos can receive immediate medical attention when needed.

Marcos also expressed the government’s goal of providing fire trucks to all local government units nationwide.
