Overseas Filipino workers (OFWs) and their families gathered at the National Migrant Workers’ Day celebration organized by the Overseas Workers Welfare Administration (OWWA), where government and private sector partners highlighted programs aimed at helping migrant workers build financial secure and prepare for their long-term goals.

As part of the event, BDO Unibank conducted a financial awareness session and assisted attendees with banking services.

“Many OFWs make significant sacrifices to provide a better future for their families. Beyond sending money home, it is important that they have access to financial tools that help them save, manage their finances, and work toward their long-term goals,” said BDO senior vice president and remittance head Genie Gloria.
